Yes! A nurse will provide education and training for self-administered infusions. Our team will ensure that you feel comfortable with the administration.
Our Patient Services and Patient Experience teams will provide you with a full explanation of your benefits, as well as identifying whether you qualify for financial resources, such as manufacturer copay or foundation assistance. We will ensure that the process is transparent and worry-free.
No, you do not have to make an appointment to use HBNow, our premier telehealth service.
Needles and Injection Devices
Heritage Biologics provides patients with Sharps containers for safe disposal of needles and injection devices. Once the container is full, you will place it in the pre-paid box provided, and drop if off at your local post office where it will be mailed to a safe-disposal facility. Remember to call us so we can include a new Sharps container in your next shipment!
Medication
For safe medication disposal, we recommend the following:
- Contact your city or county government's trash and recycling services and follow their instructions, or
- Look up a local medication disposal facility and follow their instructions.
